> If instead you prefer to remove makeup with water, then go for the Melting cleansing gel. If you don't wear much makeup and a simple cleanser is enough, then opt for the Micellar foam cleanser.
What makeup remover/cleanser should I choose for my skin type?

> If your skin has a tendency to shine, especially on the forehead, nose and chin, then it is combination: go for the Micellar foam cleanser, which is light and frothy, or the Melting cleansing gel.
> In other cases, choose the formula that best suits your needs and preferences.

Cleansing milk and toning lotion, an inseparable duo
When you use cleansing milk to remove makeup, it is essential to finish off your cleansing routine with a toning lotion. Indeed, it's the only way to completely remove the traces of "cleansing milk mixed with makeup"! But don't use the toning lotion alone as a makeup remover. It's perfect for removing excess cleansing milk, but is not sufficient to remove makeup on its own. For that you need to use a Micellar water.
How can I effectively remove eye makeup?
Soak a cotton pad with the make-up remover, then place it on the upper eyelid for a few seconds, with your eyes closed. Repeat on the lower eyelid, allowing the cotton pad to rest against the eyelashes. Finally, gently sweep the cotton pad from the inner eye to the outer eye, repeating several times. For more stubborn make-up, you can use the rinse-off formula Micellar cleansing oil.
How should I use the Clarifying cream-mask?
The Clarifying cream-mask can be used once or twice a week, by applying liberally over your face and neck.
Leave to work for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse with water.
Massage ritual: use the creamy texture to gently smooth the mask over the skin, then tap gently all over your face.
Why is it important to remove makeup properly?
Your skin comes into contact with the external environment all day long.
Dirt and impurities start to build up and mix with perspiration, sebum and makeup. The pores start to block, your complexion becomes dull.
Removing makeup/cleansing is therefore the first essential step in your beauty ritual. It is also this step that will prepare your skin to receive other treatments.
What is sensitive skin?
Sensitive skin is skin that tends to overreact to different factors on a daily basis. It often presents with redness, signs of discomfort, itchiness, tautness or even flushing. It is not skin that has a disorder, it's just delicate skin that is crying out for your attention and which needs a suitable response.
How does the rose petals range take care of sensitive skin?
Nuxe cleansers are formulated with natural surfactants to eliminate all traces of makeup and impurities. Enriched with Damask Rose Flower Water and Vegetable glycerine, they soothe* and soften all skin types, even the most sensitive. *Except for gentle exfoliating gel with rose petals.
Why is it important to exfoliate your skin?
Every day your skin regenerates and sheds its outermost layer of cells. However, sometimes these cells don't detach properly and their accumulation causes irregularities in the skin's texture. In addition to your daily cleansing ritual, it is recommended that you exfoliate your face once or twice a week to eliminate dead skin cells and unclog pores.
Damask Rose Petal Flower Water
The Damask Rose is a small, thorny rose bush with dark green leaves, and one of the most ancient varieties. Originally from the Middle East, it was brought to Europe during the Crusades. It is now mainly cultivated in Morocco, Turkey and Bulgaria.
Its large, light pink flowers, which are naturally very fragrant, are particularly sought after by perfumers.
Nuxe uses a Damask Rose Petal Flower Water, obtained by distillation from 5% dry extract of the whole flowers, which are only ever hand-picked in the morning, when the dawn dew is present. This water is rich in softening and soothing properties for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Originally discovered from the leaves of the Common Comfrey (Symphytum officinale), Allantoin is a molecule that has been used for around 50 years in medicine to fight certain diseases and infections. It is now frequently used in cosmetic formulation to soothe and soften all skin types, even the most sensitive.
Nuxe uses so-called nature-identical Allantoin to benefit from its multiple cosmetic properties.
